Hawk Designs fabricated a custom bed headboard for a client in Oshawa, Ontario featuring a nautical theme with integrated Celtic love knot steelwork. The project combined metal fabrication with wood elements to achieve a balanced, functional design.
The Celtic love knots were custom welded specifically for this build. A ship’s wheel sourced from a flea market near Port Perry along Highway 7 was incorporated as a central feature. Spruce wood was used to complete the structure and reinforce the nautical aesthetic.
The design was developed through multiple concept discussions, with ideas refined collaboratively before fabrication began. The completed headboard remains in use and performs as intended.
